ACLS & PALS Precourse Self-Assessment
All students attending an ACLS or PALS course are required to complete the American Heart Association (AHA) Precourse Self-Assessment. This ensures you're ready for the hands-on classroom portion of your training.
Important: You must bring a printed or digital copy of your completion certificate to class. Without it, you may not be admitted.
Steps to Complete the Assessment:
- Visit the AHA eLearning site:

PALS Precourse Self-Assessment - Create or log in to your AHA account
If you don’t already have an account, you’ll be prompted to create one. - Launch the appropriate course and begin the Precourse Self-Assessment.
- Achieve a passing score of 70%
You may retake the assessment if needed. - Download or print your certificate and bring it to class.
