EMTs, AEMTs and Paramedics can use the American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS and PEARS courses for their NREMT renewal.
During the enrollment AHA enrollment process, students can elect to receive CAPCE hours for their course.
CAPCE is an accrediting body charged with the review and accreditation of EMS continuing education (CE)
After course completion, those that elected to receive CAPCE hours will receive an email from the American Heart with a unique link that brings them to their CAPCE claim form.
Claims must be made within 6 months of course completion. Students are responsible for notifying NHCPR if they do not receive their CAPCE claim email.
